Sourcing and negotiation

When a different carrier or provider looks like the better deal, we run the bid for you, and staying with your current carrier is always one of the options.

No cost or obligation, and nothing changes without your written approval.

We collect the offers, give your current provider the chance to counter and lay everything out on the same terms, exit fees included, so you choose with the full cost of each option in front of you.

What a carrier bid takes from your team

You tell us what you need: the lines and services, the locations, the coverage your people depend on and the contract terms you'd accept. We run the bid from there.

Once you choose and approve the move in writing, we manage it with the carriers and check the first bills against the offer you took.

What you get from a bid

One comparison your finance and procurement teams can review and circulate. Each offer is priced over the same term with any exit fee included, and your current carrier's best counter-offer is always one of the columns. We tell you which offer we'd take and why.

You pay us out of the savings we secure, the same as on any other work. We take no payouts from carriers or vendors, including the one you end up choosing. When there's no current bill to measure against, such as service for a new location, we set out in writing what the savings will be measured against before the bid starts.

Case study: a carrier bid for a nonprofit health plan

After a bid we ran, a nonprofit health plan's cost per line fell 31%, measured on its carrier invoices before and after the move. What a bid saves depends on the offers it draws.

Sourcing and negotiation questions

Will you tell us if staying put is the better deal?

Yes. Your current provider's counter-offer sits in the same comparison as the others, priced on the same terms.

What happens to our early termination fees?

We put the exit cost into every comparison and push the new carrier to cover it. If an offer leaves that fee with you, we add it to that offer's total, so you see what moving would cost in full.
