Common questions
What buyers ask us before a review, about the fee, the work, your carriers and your data.
No cost or obligation, and nothing changes without your written approval.
The free bill review
What does the free bill review cover?
Any of your telecom accounts, with any carrier: wireless, internet, fiber, voice and IoT, plus business TV and video, at any of your locations. You choose which accounts we look at, and we send every change we'd make with its monthly value.
What do you need from us to start?
Recent statements for the accounts you pick, or a view-only role on your carrier accounts. On large wireless accounts we also ask for the carrier's usage report.
Do we have to put every account in scope at once?
No. Many companies start with their largest wireless account or the contract closest to renewal, and add the rest once they've seen the first findings.
How soon do savings reach the bill?
Carriers apply changes on billing cycles, so new pricing usually reaches the bill 60 to 90 days after you sign. When your accounts bill on different cycles, each account's changes show up on its own cycle.
Fees and savings
How does Telpro Management charge?
Our fee is 30% of the savings we secure, for up to 24 months, and nothing is owed for the audit if we find no savings. You can pay it in one payment or monthly over the term. Account management is optional, with a separate fee priced to your accounts.
What do you count as savings?
The difference between your average monthly bill over your last 3 to 6 statements and your bill once our changes take effect, for the same services, on your carriers' own invoices.
Do carriers or vendors pay you?
No. Our clients pay us, and we take no payouts from carriers or vendors, including the carrier you choose after a bid we run.
Can our procurement and legal teams review the agreement?
Yes. You see the findings before you sign anything, and we send the agreement and the fee in writing so your team can review them on its own schedule.
Ongoing account management
What's the difference between the audit and account management?
The audit finds the changes worth making and gets them onto your bill. Account management keeps them there: we review each new bill, handle your carrier requests and device orders, and tell you before a promotion or device payment ends. When a line or circuit has an outage or needs a repair, we open the trouble ticket with the carrier and follow it until it's resolved.
Do we have to take account management?
No. It's optional, with a separate fee that varies with your accounts, so we quote it after the review. You decide after you've seen what the audit found.
Carriers
Will we have to move to a different carrier?
No. Most of our work happens with the carriers you already use, and your numbers and devices stay as they are. When another carrier is clearly cheaper for the same coverage, we run a bid and show you every offer, including your current carrier's counter, before you decide.
Which carriers do you work with?
Any carrier your company uses, including Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile for wireless and cable and fiber providers such as Comcast Business.
Company size and scope
Is our company the right size for Telpro Management?
We work with companies from fewer than 100 lines to more than 50,000. If you're not sure, tell us roughly how many lines and sites you have, and we'll say whether a review makes sense.
Do you work with companies that operate outside the US?
Yes. Tell us which countries and carriers you'd want in scope, and we'll say what we'd review. On wireless bills we also check international roaming, day passes and messaging.
Do we need telecom expense management software if we work with you?
No. We work from your carrier bills, contracts and usage reports. If you already run TEM software, you can keep it.
Your data and access
Do we get a client portal?
Yes, every client does, whether you hire us for the audit alone or keep us on for account management. It holds your findings and results, your line inventory, and your bills and reports. Account management adds the ongoing work: your analyst reviews each new bill, handles your carrier requests and gives you a heads-up before promotions and device payments end.
Who can see our data?
The Telpro Management analysts working on your accounts, and in the client portal, the people at your company you invite. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising, and we'll sign an NDA before the review if you'd like one.
Can anything change on our accounts without our approval?
No. Every change needs written approval from your designated administrator before it goes ahead.
